No, money from a KiwiSaver first home withdrawal has to be used to purchase a property under your name, not a trust name.

The KiwiSaver rules only outline your eligibility to make a first home withdrawal; what you do after you have purchased the property is not something we can give you information about. If you want information about changing the ownership structure of your property, you need to talk to your conveyancing lawyer.

Is there a time limit on this? For example could I use the first home withdrawal and then transfer the home into a trust after x years?
